• Delaware looks to extend its winning streak to four games as the Blue Hens open a two-game northern swing at Hofstra.
• UD won its third straight game on Saturday with a thrilling 61-60 victory at James Madison, the Blue Hens' sixth win outside of Newark this season.
• Ryan Daly hit a jumper with 14 seconds left to give Delaware the lead, before the Dukes missed a shot at the buzzer. The Blue Hens trailed by seven points with 3:06 remaining, but closed the game with an 8-0 run to pull out the victory.
• Daly scored a game-high 19 points, reaching double figures for the 17th consecutive game. Ryan Allen added 14 points, while Anthony Mosley contributed 11 on the day.
• Eric Carter grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds for the second consecutive game, and now ranks third in the CAA by averaging 9.2 rebounds per game. Carter is second in the league with a 58.6 field goal percentage, and has shot 60 percent or better from the field in eight of the last nine games.
• The Blue Hens have held each of their last three opponents to under 42 percent shooting from the floor.
• Hofstra leads the all-time series with Delaware, 54-32, and is 33-8 against UD in Hempstead. The Pride swept the regular season series a year ago, before the Blue Hens snapped a six-game losing skid in the series with an 81-76 victory in the CAA Tournament First Round.
• Jacob Cushing, who has missed the last 10 games with a broken nose, is expected to return vs. the Pride.
