No. 16 Delaware Closes Regular Season With 6-0 Triumph Against Hofstra

NEWARK, Del. – Six seniors. Six goals. Six conference wins.
The magic number was six Sunday as No. 16 Delaware topped Hofstra, 6-0, at Fred P. Rullo Stadium on Senior Day.
Prior to the game, the Blue Hens honored seniors Kiki Bink, MaryCate Butler, Lisa Giezeman, Greta Nauck, Michaela Scanlon and Sydney Rhodes for their outstanding careers at Delaware.
With the win, the Hens finish regular season play with a 12-6 record overall while registering its third straight year with a 6-0 mark in conference play.
Nauck finished the day with her fifth career hat trick to go along with two assists for a total of eight points.
Rhodes split time in the cage with freshmen Lizzie Gaebel and Becca Harbert for the team's fifth shutout of the season.
Betty Bosma collected 12 saves in 70 minutes for the Pride (5-13, 2-4 CAA).
