Delaware Moves Up To 11th Place Following Second Day of Princess Anne Invitational

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The University of Delaware women's golf team fired a 293 score on Saturday to move up one spot into 11th place following the second day of the Princess Anne Invitational.
The Blue Hens, who recorded a 304 score on Friday, sit in 11th place out of 12 squads with a 597 total. Sacramento State leads the field with a 573 score, while Campbell and UCF are each two shots back.
UD freshman Mackenzie Dieter carded a one over par 71 on the par 70, 5,824-yard course at Princess Anne Country Club, and is tied for 21st place with a five over par 74-71-145.
Ashley Dingman, who fired a 73 on Saturday, is tied for 37th place with a nine over par 76-73-149 while Josefina Fernandez-Davila, playing as an individual, is also tied for 37th place at 71-78-149.
Sophia Dieter is tied for 50th place at the tournament with a 12 over par 76-76-152, while Ariane Klotz is tied for 53rd place with a 13 over par 80-73-153. Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 57th place with a 14 over par 78-76-154 while Isabella Rimton, playing as an individual, sits in 62nd place with a 17 over par 78-79-157.
Virunpat Olankitkunchai of Maryland leads the standings at four under par, while Elizabeth Moon of UCF is two shots behind.
The final round of the three-day tournament will begin at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
