Jasmine Dickey Earns Second CAA Rookie of the Week Award

RICHMOND, Va. – Jasmine Dickey is making a name for herself in her first season in a Delaware uniform as the Colonial Athletic Association recognized the forward Monday as the league's Rookie of the Week for the second straight week.
Dickey averaged 13.5 rebounds and 11.5 points as the Blue Hens went 1-1 in the Preseason WNIT.
In Friday's loss to Montana State, the freshman posted 11 rebounds, eight points and two steals. She added a season-high 16 rebounds and 15 points in Sunday's win over Nicholls.
Through three games this season, Dickey is averaging 14.7 points and is 14th nationally with 13.0 rebounds per contest and has logged two double doubles.
Delaware returns to the court Tuesday with a 6 p.m. tip at Delaware State before traveling to Boca Raton, Fla. for this weekend's FAU Thanksgiving Tournament with Bradley and Lafayette.
