Jasmine Dickey Recognized as CAA Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – The awards keep coming for Jasmine Dickey as the forward earned her third straight Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week honor Monday.
The freshman averaged 10.3 rebounds, 7.0 points and 2.0 steals in 30.0 minutes as the Blue Hens (3-3) went 2-1 this past week.
Dickey collected a season-best 18 rebounds in a season-high 36 minutes played against Bradley in Delaware's first game of the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday. She added a season-best three steals in Saturday's win over Lafayette and was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 12.5 rebounds and 9.5 points for the Hens.
A consistent threat for Delaware, Dickey is ranked in the Top 25 of four statistical categories nationally as she is 10th overall with 70 rebounds, 15th with 9.0 defensive rebounds per game (leads the CAA) and 23rd with 11.7 rebounds per game (leads the CAA) and three double doubles.
The Blue Hens continue competition on the road with a 1 p.m. tip at Boston University this Sunday.
