HEN SCRATCHINGS 🐔
• Delaware returns home to host Elon looking to snap a nine-game losing skid.
• The Blue Hens dropped a 67-65 heartbreaker at Towson on Thursday, when Ryan Allen's last second three-point attempt was blocked.
• Ryan Daly, who had missed the previous five games with a sprained ankle, scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Daly has now scored 901 career points, becoming the third player in UD history to surpass the 900-point mark in his first two years at Delaware.
• Allen contributed 15 points, reaching double figures for the 12th straight game and hitting a three-pointer for the 25th consecutive game.
• Allen's 72 three-pointers this season are the sixth most by a Division I freshman and tied for 11th most in a UD single season.
• Anthony Mosley tied Daly for the team lead with 18 points, and went 8 of 10 from the field. Mosley is now tied with Tyrone Perry for 39th in UD history with 936 points.
• Eric Carter added eight points and nine rebounds vs. the Tigers, and is averaging 12.5 points and 9.7 boards over his last six games.
• Elon leads the all-time series with Delaware, 7-1, and has won two of the three meetings in Newark. Last year the Blue Hens posted a 76-74 overtime victory over the Phoenix at the Bob Carpenter Center.
• Elon captured the first meeting this season, 89-76, on Feb. 3 at Alumni Gym. The Phoenix scored the first 14 points of the game and led the entire way.
