• Delaware advanced to the CAA Tournament Quarterfinals with an 86-79 win over 10th-seeded Elon in a first round game on Saturday night.
• Ryan Daly led the Blue Hens with 23 points, his ninth 20-point effort of the season. Daly has reached double figures in 25 straight games, and is 23 points shy of 1,000 for his career.
• Eric Carter added 20 points and 11 rebounds while posting his 12th double-double of the season. Carter now has 503 career boards, becoming the 32nd player in UD history to surpass 500 career rebounds.
• Ryan Allen contributed 14 points, reaching double figures for the 16th straight game. Allen's 86 three-pointers are tied for the UD single season record, along with John Gordon in 1998-99. Allen has made a three-pointer in all 29 games of his career.
• Anthony Mosley reached double figures for the fifth consecutive game with 13 points. He needs 13 more points to reach the 1,000-point mark for his career.
• Delaware shot 57.4 percent vs. Elon, its second highest percentage of the year.
• The Blue Hens leads the all-time series with Northeastern, 28-26, but the Huskies have won six of the last seven meetings including both regular season matchups this year.
• Tonight's game is the seventh postseason meeting between the schools, including the fifth in the CAA Tournament. Delaware is 4-2 vs. Northeastern in the postseason.
• The Blue Hens are 4-8 in 12 CAA Quarterfinal games, and are looking to advance to the CAA Semifinals for the fifth time since joining the league.
