Blue Hens Add Guard Kayla Shaw as Transfer Student-Athlete

NEWARK, Del. –

University of Delaware women's basketball head coach Natasha Adair announced Friday the addition of Kayla Shaw as a transfer student-athlete from Monmouth University.

A 5-10 3-point shooting prowess from Scottsdale, Ariz., Shaw will be eligible for competition beginning during the 2019-20 campaign.

“Kayla will enhance our perimeter scoring immensely,” stated Adair. “She is a fierce competitor with a very high basketball IQ. The 'UD Way' is based on hard work, discipline, team and championships. Kayla embodies all of these qualities and more. I'm looking forward to coaching her, watching her grow and experiencing the positive impact that she will have on our program."
