Delaware Chosen for 2018 Preseason WNIT

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Blue Hens will make their fourth-ever appearance in the Preseason WNIT during the 2018-19 campaign, as announced Tuesday by Triple Crown Sports.
The November event features a three-game guarantee for all participants with first round matchups and the entire bracket to be announced in the coming weeks. All games will be hosted by participating schools, with the championship game televised on CBS Sports Network.
In addition to Delaware, the 2018 Preseason WNIT field includes: Auburn (SEC), Hartford (America East), Iowa State (Big 12), Marquette (Big East), Miami (ACC), Montana State (Big Sky), Morgan State (Mid-Eastern), New Mexico (Mountain West), Niagara (Metro Atlantic), Nicholls State (Southland), Northern Illinois (Mid-American), Northern Iowa (Missouri Valley), Stephen F. Austin (Southland), Texas State (Sun Belt) and Yale (Ivy).
The Blue Hens previously competed in the Preseason WNIT in 2000, 2007 and 2012.
Delaware will release its complete non-conference schedule later this summer.
