CAA Releases 2018-19 Women’s Basketball Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Delaware women's basketball team will open and close the 2018-19 Colonial Athletic Association campaign at the Bob Carpenter Center as announced Monday alongside the complete, tentative conference schedule for the upcoming year.
This season will be the first of a five-year rotating conference schedule that pairs each school with a travel partner; Delaware will pair with Drexel University. With the exception of the final weekend (Thursday/Saturday), teams will compete in a Friday/Sunday format that features back-to-back games at home or on the road. During the two weeks in which a team faces its travel partner, both squads will have a bye on Friday night before playing on Sunday.
Teams will once again conduct an 18-game league schedule with all 10 CAA teams facing each other at home and on the road. The regular season slate opens on Friday, January 4 and concludes on Saturday, March 9. Please click here for the entire, tentative 2019 CAA schedule.
