Delaware Men’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's basketball team will host seven non-conference games including the Delaware Invitational as the Blue Hens announced their non-league slate for the upcoming year on Tuesday.
Delaware, led by third-year head coach Martin Ingelsby, will kick off the 2018-19 season on Tuesday, Nov. 6 with a marquee matchup against Big 10 opponent Maryland at the XFINITY Center in College Park, Md. Following a road game at Saint Peter's on Nov. 10, the Blue Hens will play their home opener against Chestnut Hill on Nov. 13 as part of the Delaware Invitational.
UD heads to Cornell on Nov. 15, before hosting three more games in the Delaware Invitational. The Blue Hens welcome Wilmington University to the BCC on Nov 18, prior to facing UNCG on Nov. 23 and Louisiana Tech on Nov. 26. UNCG and Louisiana Tech will also play at the BCC on Nov. 24 as part of the invitational.
Delaware heads to UMES on Nov. 30 and Columbia on Dec. 2, before returning home to take on Navy on Dec. 5. The Blue Hens remain home to battle Saint Francis (Pa.) on Dec. 9, and after a road game at Stony Brook on Dec. 16, close their non-league slate at the BCC against Delaware State on Dec. 19.
UD will then play its 18-game Colonial Athletic Association schedule, which was announced in June, beginning on Dec. 28 at Hofstra.
Season tickets are available now. Renewing season ticket members can access their invoice by clicking here. Fans interested in becoming a season ticket member should click here to purchase new season tickets. Regular ticket packages start at $159. Special pricing is available to UD Alumni, UD Faculty & Staff as well as Senior Citizens. Family Packages are also available. New this season, all season ticket members will receive a Gold Lot parking permit free of charge. Additional permits will be $50. All fans may purchase advanced parking permits in the Gold Lot on an individual game basis for $5 per car throughout the season. Any fan without a permit on the day of the game will be directed to the General Lots (in front of Delaware Field House and Fred Rust Ice Arena) free of charge.
