Blue Hens Tie Program Record, Move Up to Third at Golfweek Program Championship

Pawleys Island, S.C. – The University of Delaware women's golf squad tied the program's single round team record with a 289 score on Monday as the Blue Hens jumped four spots into third place following the second round of the Golfweek Program Championship.
Delaware, which fired a 304 score on Sunday, sits in third place out of 14 teams with a 593 total. Campbell leads the field at 560, followed by Old Dominion at 562 and the Blue Hens.
UD's score on Monday tied the program record of 289 set on Sept. 23, 2017 at the Nittany Lion Invitational in State College, Pa.
Delaware sophomore Thitaree Sakulbunpanich fired a two under par 69 on the par 71, 5,904-yard course at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, and is tied for ninth place with a two over par 75-69-144. Sakulbunpanich, who posted four birdies on the day including three straight from 14 through 16, recorded the eighth sub-70 individual round in Blue Hen history.
Ariane Klotz, who fired five birdies during her second round, finished with a one under par 70 and is tied for 15th place at 76-70-146, four over par.
Valentina Mueller is tied for 22nd place at the tournament with seven over par a 76-73-149, while Ashley Dingman has shot a 12 over par 77-77-154 and is tied for 35th place.
Mackenzie Dieter is tied for 58th place with an 18 over par 78-82-160 while Josefina Fernandez-Davila, playing as an individual, is tied for 65th place with a 20 over par 85-77-162.
The third and final round of the tournament will be held on Tuesday.
