No. 13 Hens Fall at No. 5 Princeton, 4-2

PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior Sydney Rhodes collected a career-best nine saves Sunday afternoon while the No. 13 Delaware field hockey team fell at No. 5 Princeton, 4-2, at Bedford Field.
Senior Greta Nauck led the Hens (4-4) with a goal and an assist while sophomore Femke Strien registered Delaware's other goal.
Junior Ally Pollak and freshman Pia Freudenberger added assists on Nauck's penalty corner goal.
In addition to nine saves, Rhodes faced a career-best 20 shots and registered a 69.2 save percentage.
Julianna Tornetta guided the Tigers (5-2) with two goals.

"As said before, we are work in progress. Our first eight games have given us time to experience Delaware Hockey (DEHO), learn where we are, where we are improving and what we are doing well. Today we learned the importance of playing simple, possess better, do more with our scoring opportunities, and displaying more physicality as an entire team. I am hopeful that DEHO is ready come CAA conference action versus Drexel at the end of the month."
