Blue Hens in 16th Place After First Day of Golfweek Conference Challenge

WOLCOTT, Colo. – The University of Delaware women's golf team fired a 312 score during Monday's opening round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge, ending the day in 16th place.
UCLA leads the 18-team field at 277, followed by Campbell at 286 and Pepperdine at 287.
Ariane Klotz and Thitaree Sakulbunpanich each fired a three over par 75 on the par 72, 6,320-yard Fazio Course at Red Sky Golf Club to finish the day in a tie for 35th place.
Sophia Dieter is tied for 65th place with a seven over par 79 for the Blue Hens, Ashley Dingman is tied for 87th place with an 11 over par 83, and Valentina Mueller is tied for 89th place with a 12 over par 84.
Four players are tied for the individual lead at four under par.
The second round of the three-day tournament will begin at 8 a.m. Mountain Time on Tuesday.
