BOSTON, Mass. – A slow fourth quarter hindered Delaware Sunday afternoon at Matthews Arena as Northeastern topped the Blue Hens, 75-62.
Freshman Jasmine Dickey posted her second straight game with a double double and finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds to go along with a season-high three blocked shots and two steals.
Junior Bailey Kargo led the Hens (6-11, 1-4 CAA) with 18 points, including four 3-pointers, while classmate Abby Gonzales contributed 14 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Delaware also received at least two points from each Blue Hen who saw playing time.
POST-GAME QUOTES
Head Coach Natasha Adair
"This one's tough. We did a lot of things well today. We had three players in double figures; prior to this weekend, we haven't had that in a while. I thought we played hard. I commend this group on their effort to play hard. They were flying around defensively, but we let the league's top scorer get 32 points. Kudos to Northeastern and what they've done as a program. The biggest thing we need to do is to focus and be consistent for an entire 40 minutes – not for 35; not for 25. We need to put it all together to come out with the win."
HEN SCRATCHINGS
• Sunday's game was the first-ever for the Blue Hens at the historic Matthews Arena, a facility that is home to the Northeastern men's basketball team and men's and women's ice hockey team and is the world's oldest multi-purpose athletic building.

• Lizzie Oleary made her first career start for the Blue Hens.
• Abby Gonzales now has 100 career 3-point field goals made, a mark good for eighth in program history.
