Delaware Tied for Seventh After First Day of Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Delaware women's golf team carded a 304 score during Friday's opening round of the Yale Invitational to end the day tied for seventh place.
The Blue Hens and Harvard are tied for seventh out of 14 squads with 304 scores. The host Bulldogs lead the field with a 289 total.
UD senior Ariane Klotz is tied for sixth place among individuals after she fired a one over par 72 on the par 71, 6,099-yard Yale Golf Course. Five players are tied for the lead at even par, while Klotz is one of five players just one shot back.
Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 26 place with a five over par 76, while Lexi Dart carded a six over par 77 to end the day in a tie for 37th place. Lene Sperling is tied for 48th place with an eight over par 79 while Kylie Greulich recorded a nine over par 80 to finish the day in a tie for 53rd place.
Siena Ferrick is tied for 75th place with a 13 over par 84, Isabella Rimton is tied for 80th place with a 15 over par 86, and Josefina Fernandez-Davila is tied for 85th place with a 17 over par 88.
The second round of the three-day tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
