Klotz Tied for Fifth Place Following Second Day of Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Blue Hen senior Ariane Klotz fired her second straight round of 72 on Saturday and is tied for fifth place following the second round of the Yale Invitational.
Klotz eagled the fourth hole and added 14 pars on the par 71, 6,099-yard Yale Golf Course on Saturday, finishing the day with a two over par 72-72-144 at the tournament. Ami Gianchandani of Yale leads the field at four under par, while Anina Ku of Harvard is three shots back.
Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 36th place with a 10 over par 76-76-152, while Lexi Dart has carded a 13 over par 77-78-155 to end the day in a tie for 50th place. Lene Sperling is tied for 54th place with a 14 over par 79-77-156, while Kylie Greulich is tied for 66th place with an 18 over par 80-80-160.
Also competing at the invitational for the Blue Hens are Isabella Rimton (80th, 86-81-167), Siena Ferrick (T-81st, 84-84-168) and Josefina Fernandez-Davila (88th, 88-94-182).
Delaware carded a 303 team score on Saturday after Friday's 304 score, ending the day in 10th place out of 14 squads with a 607 total. The host Bulldogs lead the way at 571, while the University of Stirling is 10 shots behind.
The final round of the tournament will begin at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
