GREENSBORO, Ga. – The University of Delaware women's golf team is tied for 13th place following Saturday's play at the season-opening Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational.
Delaware posted a 472 score through 27 holes on the Ridge, Bluff and Cove courses at the Reynolds Lake Oconee National Course, ending the day tied for 13th place out of 17 squads. Texas Tech and host Mercer are tied for the team lead with 442 scores.
Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 14th place with a three over par 111 score, while Ariane Klotz is tied for 44th place with an eight over par 116. Valentina Mueller, playing as an individual, fired a nine over par 117 to end the day tied for 53rd place, while Sophia Dieter is tied for 83rd place with a 13 over par 121 score.
Ashley Dingman carded a 16 over par 124 to finish the day in a tie for 90th place, while Mackenzie Dieter is tied for 101st place with a 22 over par 130.
The tournament wraps up on Sunday with the three courses' other nine holes, beginning at 9 a.m.
