Delaware Tied for Third Place After Second Round at Kiawah Island Spring Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The University of Delaware women's golf team is tied for third place while Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 10th following Monday's second round of the Kiawah Island Spring Classic.
After the Blue Hens carded a 289 score on Sunday, Delaware followed with a 296 score on Monday to end the day tied for third place out of 49 teams. North Florida leads the field at 577, Coastal Carolina is second at 581, and the Blue Hens and College of Charleston are tied for third at 585.
Sakulbunpanich fired a 73 on the par 72, 5,941-yard Oak Point Golf Club course, and is tied for 10th place with a one over par 72-73-145. She posted three birdies on Monday while adding 13 pars.
Valentina Mueller is tied for 18th place at the tournament with a two over par 72-74-146. Mueller carded a pair of birdies during her second round to go with an eagle on the fourth hole.
Ariane Klotz, who fired three birdies on Monday, is tied for 32nd place with a three over par 73-74-147. Ashley Dingman recorded a birdie and 13 pars during her second round and is also tied for 32nd place at 72-75-147.
Sophia Dieter carded her second straight round of 76 and is tied for 85th place at 76-76-152, eight over par. Kylie Greulich, playing as an individual, is tied for 179th place with a 17 over par 81-80-161.
The final round of the tournament will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday, with the Blue Hens playing the Osprey Point course.
