Novice 8 Closes Weekend in Philly with Sixth-Place Finish at Dad Vail Regatta

The Blue Hens finish inside the top-10 in the event
PHILADELPHIA – After a stellar showing in the opening day of the 2019 Dad Vail Regatta, the Delaware rowing team's Novice 8 boat came back to finish inside the top-10 on Sunday in the event on the Schuylkill River.

The Blue Hens finished in second place in their semifinal Saturday and bested their time by a full minute, with a 7:02 in the Sunday final to finish in sixth place.

The Dad Vail Regatta was the final tune up for Delaware before the CAA Championships on May 19 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
