PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – For the fifth straight season, the University of Delaware's Third Varsity Eight grabbed a top-three finish to bring home a medal as the Blue Hens rowing squad wrapped up its 2019 season at CAA Championships.

Led by coxswain Tierney Ellis, the third Varsity Eight clocked in at 7:25.693 to claim the bronze, leading Delaware to a fifth-place finish at the championships.

Senior Sarah Shaffer of the Varsity Eight earned All-CAA honors for the Blue Hens.
