Women’s Basketball Adds Three Transfer Student-Athletes

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware head coach Natasha Adair announced Monday the addition of Ty Battle, Tameria Johnson and Chyna Latimer as transfer student-athletes.

Johnson will be eligible to play immediately for the Blue Hens in 2019-20 as a transfer from Tallahassee Community College while Battle (Indiana State) and Latimer (George Washington) are required to sit out one season in accordance to NCAA Division I transfer regulations.

"This is a great group that comes in with collegiate experience and leadership," exclaimed Adair, who will be entering her third season at Delaware this coming year. "They each have an understanding of the day-to-day grind of being a Division I student-athlete. This will help make their transition smooth and each will impact our program positively from day one."
