Blue Hens Announce Loaded Slate For 2019 Season
8/1/2019 9:00:00 AM | Women's Cross Country
NEWARK, Del. – Coming off one of the best seasons in the past 20 years, the University of Delaware cross country squad is ready to raise the bar even further in 2019.
That task won't be easy as the Blue Hens announced a loaded 2019 slate, including stops at each of the postseason championship sites during the regular season. Also included on the docket is the Delaware Invitational, which will be held at White Clay Creek State Park again this year.
"I'm really excited about this schedule. It allows us to develop some of our younger student-athletes and prepare our more experienced members of the team for the postseason championships," Head Cross Country Coach Ryan Waite said. "By seeing the courses at JMU, Lehigh and Indiana State, we will be ready to run at the conference regional and hopefully at the national championships."
Led by All-CAA performers Diana Dunn and Roxanne Ramirez, the Blue Hens return a wealth of talent, along with an influx of gifted newcomers.
