WOLCOTT, Colo. – The Delaware women's golf team recorded a 301 score during Monday's opening round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge, ending the day in 13th place.

Ole Miss and Pepperdine are tied for the lead in the 18-team field with 281 scores, while tournament host Denver sits in third place at 283.

Blue Hen senior Ariane Klotz is tied for 11th place after carding a two under par 70 on the par 72, 6,261-yard Fazio Course at Red Sky Golf Club. Klotz posted six birdies during her round, including five on the back nine.

Lexi Dart fired four birdies on Monday, as she carded a one over par 73 to end the day tied for 32nd place. Fellow freshman Lene Sperling, who recorded a pair of birdies, is tied for 70th place with a six over par 78.

Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 80th place with an eight over par 80, while Aashaka Desai is tied for 89th place with a 10 over par 82.

The tournament continues on Tuesday before concluding on Wednesday.
