Delaware Finishes in 14th Place at Golfweek Conference Challenge

WOLCOTT, Colo. – The Delaware women's golf team carded a 307 score on Wednesday during its final round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge to finish in 14th place.
The Blue Hens fired a 301 score on Monday and a 295 on Tuesday, placing 14th out of 18 squads with a 903 total. Ole Miss captured the team title with an 849 score, while Pepperdine finished second at 857.
UD senior Ariane Klotz shot a one under par 71 during her final round on the par 72, 6,261-yard Fazio Course at Red Sky Golf Club, tying for 24th place with a three over par 70-78-71-219. Klotz carded an eagle on the sixth hole on Tuesday and added three birdies on the day.
Lexi Dart tied for 48th place at the tournament with a nine over par 73-72-80-225, while Thitaree Sakulbunpanich fired a 13 over par 80-73-76-229 to finish in a tie for 63rd place.
Lene Sperling tied for 77th place with an 18 over par 78-72-84-234, while Aashaka Desai finished in 94th place after carding a 33 over par 82-87-80-249.
Anna Zanusso of Denver was the tournament medalist by finishing at 11 under par.
The Blue Hens are back in action at the Yale Invitational on Oct. 4-5.
