Blue Hens Finish 11th at Season-Opening Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

GREENSBORO, Ga. – The University of Delaware women's golf team finished in 11th place as the Blue Hens opened their 2020 spring season this weekend at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational.
Delaware carded team rounds of 320, 316 and 302 at the tournament, finishing 11th out of 14 squads with a 938 total. Auburn easily captured the team title with an 856 score, while tournament host Mercer placed second at 882.
Thitaree Sakulbunpanich tied for 24th place at the invitational with a 10 over par 76-76-74-226 on the par 72, 6,134-yard Landing Course at The Landing at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
Ariane Klotz posted the Blue Hens' best round on Sunday with a 71, as she tied for 28th place with a 12 over par 79-78-71-228. Lene Sperling, who carded a 22 over par 83-78-77-238 during the weekend, tied for 51st place.
Lexi Dart finished in 65th place with a 32 over par 84-84-80-248, while Kylie Greulich tied for 72nd place with a 37 over par 82-87-84-253.
Delaware returns to the course on Mar. 1-3 when the Blue Hens compete in the Kiawah Island Spring Classic.
