Ariane Klotz Named CAA Women’s Golfer of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware senior Ariane Klotz was named Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday after her outstanding performance at the UNF Collegiate.
Klotz tied for first place at the tournament by carding a one over par 71-71-75-217 on the par 72, 5,926-yard Jacksonville Golf & Country Club on Monday and Tuesday. She finished in a tie along with CSU Fullerton's Brittany Shin, who was declared the individual champion on a scorecard playoff.
Klotz led the Blue Hens to a sixth place team finish at the invitational.
Klotz leads Delaware with a 73.10 average round this season, and has posted two top-five finishes and four top-10 finishes on the year.
