Blue Hens Earn USTFCCCA Team Academic Honor

NEW ORLEANS, La. – One of the four core values of the University of Delaware track & field program is family. Family supports each other, challenges each other and pushes each other to be the best they could possibly be.
That family dynamic shines bright with the Blue Hens, who although the spring season did not happen, still earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors for their performance in the classroom.
"I'm proud of our student-athletes for their stellar performance in the classroom. Their discipline, hard work and dedication continues to pay off as they balance various activities in their lives," head coach Wendy McFarlane-Smith said.
Teams who earned a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or higher earned the distinction. Under the tutelage of McFarlane-Smith, the Blue Hens have earned the honor in 11 of her seasons, including the past 11 consecutive years.
