» Delaware enters the weekend ranked No. 14 in the STATS Perform FCS Top 25 Poll and No. 15 in the AFCA Coaches' FCS Top 25 Poll. The Blue Hens have been ranked as high as No. 5 in both polls.

» Saturday will mark the sixth-straight season that the Seawolves and Blue Hens have met, covering the entire series history. Delaware has won three of the first five meetings, including a 31-3 victory this past spring. Thyrick Pitts caught six passes for 95 yards and a touchdown, while Gene Coleman II also had six catches for 65 yards and Bryce De Maille added a rushing touchdown. The Delaware defense forced three turnovers, including an interception and fumble recovery by Dae'Lun Darien.

» In last week's contest at Rhode Island, Dejoun Lee became the 17th Blue Hen to surpass 2,000 career rushing yards. He currently ranks 12th in Delaware's record books with 2,104 yards and needs just two yards to move into 11th place and 112 yards to move into No. 10 past Norman Coleman (2,215). He also moved into Delaware's top 10 in career all-purpose yards, and currently ranks ninth with 3,772.

» Lee has surpassed 100 yards rushing in three-consecutive games, going for 127 yards at Rutgers and 112 against UAlbany and 115 yards at Rhode Island. The last person to rush for 100+ yards in four-straight games was Andrew Pierce in 2010. Lee now has six career games of at least 100 yards on the ground.

» Stony Brook enters Saturday's contest with a 1-5 record and an 0-3 mark against CAA opponents. The Seawolves have dropped four-straight games, including consecutive seven-point defeats to Rhode Island and Towson.

» The Stony Brook offense is averaging 357 yards of offense, but just 16.7 points per game as the Seawolves have committed 13 turnovers on the season. The defense is allowing 26.2 points per game and opponents are averaging 354 yards of offense.
