Women's Golf Preview: Lady Blue Hen Invitational

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware women's golf team will host its tournament for the eighth year this weekend with the Lady Blue Hen Invitational in Rehoboth Beach.
The tournament will once again be held at Rehoboth Beach Country Club's par 72, 6,169-yard course. Two rounds will be held Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m., while Sunday's final round will start at 9 a.m.
This year's field includes 12 teams: Bucknell, Delaware, Delaware State, Fairleigh Dickinson, Harvard, Georgetown, Navy, Penn, Princeton, Richmond, St. John's, and Seton Hall.
The Blue Hens will be competing in their fourth tournament of the fall season, before wrapping up 2021 at the Mercer Invitational on Nov. 8-9. Oihana Etxezarreta leads the Blue Hens with a 72.75 average round, followed by Lilia Henkel (73.00), Christina Carroll (73.25) and Alisa Khokhlova (73.83).
