Etxezarreta Leads Field Following First Day of Lady Blue Hen Invitational

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Delaware sophomore Oihana Etxezarreta holds the individual lead following Saturday's opening two rounds of the Lady Blue Hen Invitational.
Etxezarreta carded rounds of 71 and 72 on the par 72, 6,169-yard Rehoboth Beach Country Club course, firing seven birdies on the day. She leads the field at one under par, while Tiffany Kong of Princeton is one shot back.
Alisa Khokhlova is tied for 16th place with a six over par 72-78=150, while Christina Carroll is tied for 32nd place with an 11 over par 77-78=155.
Lexi Dart, playing as an individual, is tied for 42nd place with a 14 over par 81-77=158, followed by Anna Kittelson (T-49th, 78-83=161) and Lilia Henkel (T-51st, 79-83=162).
Liz Coffren (T-54th, 79-84=163) and Lene Sperling (67th, 89-79=168) are also competing in the tournament for the Blue Hens as individuals.
Delaware fired team rounds of 298 and 311 to end the day in sixth place out of 12 squads with a 609 total. Princeton leads the way at 592, while Richmond is two shots back.
The final round of the tournament will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday.
