Delaware Softball Announces 2022 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware softball team opens its season with four southern trips and is slated to play 21 home games as the Blue Hens announced their 2022 schedule on Thursday.
Delaware opens its schedule at the Stetson Tournament on Feb. 11-13, before a challenging weekend at the Georgia Tournament on Feb. 18-20. The Bulldogs won both the NCAA Regional and Super Regional last spring to advance to the Women's College World Series.
The Blue Hens then travel to the NC State Tournament on Feb. 25-27, while their final early season trip will take place at the FAU Tournament on Mar. 4-6.
Delaware kicks off its home slate on Mar. 11-13 when it hosts Penn State and Canisius for the Blue Hen Invitational. UD then welcomes Mount St. Mary's for a doubleheader on Mar. 16, and after heading to Villanova on Mar. 19, returns home the following day for two games against UAlbany.
The Blue Hens kick off their Colonial Athletic Association schedule at UNCW on Mar. 26-27, before hosting Monmouth on Mar. 30 and Elon on Apr. 2-3. Following a road game at Lehigh on Apr. 6, Delaware hosts Drexel for a weekend series on Apr. 9-10.
UD travels to Towson on Apr. 16-17 and to Saint Joseph's on Apr. 20, before returning home to battle Hofstra on Apr. 23-24.
The Blue Hens will face their second WCWS opponent when they head to James Madison on Apr. 30-May 1, and then wrap up their regular season with a home series against Charleston on May 6-7.
The CAA Tournament will again take place at JMU's Veterans Memorial Park in Harrisonburg, Va. on May 11-13.
