NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware volleyball team put on a show Sunday afternoon to conclude Parents and Family Weekend as the squad snapped its eight-game losing streak and captured its first conference win by sweeping the Hofstra University Pride (9-8, 3-3 CAA) in straight sets (25-23, 25-20, 25-23) in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) battle inside Bob Carpenter Center in Newark.
"It was a total team effort today," said head coach Sara Matthews. "We have been so close to turning the corner over the past eight matches.
