Polino Named CAA Swimmer of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. - Ryan Polino was named Colonial Athletic Association Swimmer of the Week announced by the conference office Tuesday.

Polino recorded three first-place finishes as Delaware defeated Rider (168-129) and La Salle (216-80). The junior took the top spot in the 100 free (46.41), and 100 fly (50.89) and was a member of UD's winning 400 free relay team (3:03.73). He also had a second-place effort in the 100 back (50.47).

The Chesterfield, Va., native helped the Blue Hens to eight first place finishes in the sweep of Rider and La Salle.

The men's squad hits the road for the Patriot Invite Nov. 18-20 in Fairfax, Va., for the final meet of 2021.
