Kate Brewster Named Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention

RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware women's lacrosse senior goalkeeper Kate Brewster was named as an honorable mention to the Preseason All-Colonial Athletic Association Team, the conference announced Wednesday morning.
Brewster was the Blue Hens' Team MVP in 2020 after playing every minute of the season in the cage. She ranked in the top 30 in the NCAA in several statistical categories, including ground balls per game (3.00 – 29th), saves per game (10.2 – 21st) and save percentage (.481 – 27th).
Delaware was picked to finish fourth in the CAA North Division in a poll of the league's head coaches. Hofstra's Alyssa Parrella was tabbed as Preseason Player of the Year.
The Blue Hens open the season on Saturday, Feb. 20 with a home game against Temple at noon.
