Mike Robinson Named to USILA Team, CAA Rookie of the Week

NEWARK, DE – Sophomore Mike Robinson was named to the USILA Division I Team of the Week and the CAA Rookie of the Week after scoring 12 goals in two games.
Robinson scored nine goals in the win over Saint Joseph's, the most since Hayler Osborn scored the same number vs. Towson State on May 4, 1963. He took just 12 shots and added three ground balls.
In a downpour against Bellarmine, Robinson notched a hat trick, adding four ground balls and a caused turnover.
The CAA is awarding Rookie of the Week honors to both freshman and sophomore classes, as no All-Rookie team was selected in 2020. Robinson earned Rookie of the Week honors last year to open the season.
The Blue Hens open conference play at Fairfield Saturday.
