Blue Hens 11th After First Day of ECU Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Delaware men's golf team carded rounds of 304 and 307 during Monday's opening two rounds of the ECU Intercollegiate, ending the day in a tie for 11th place.

The Blue Hens sit 11th out of 13 squads with a 611 two-round total. Coastal Carolina leads the team standings with a 574 score, while Appalachian State is seven shots back.

Michal Bargenda carded a four over par 73-75-148 on the par 72, 6,755-yard Brook Valley Country Club course to end the day in a tie for 28th place among individuals. Roberto Nieves is tied for 32nd place with a five over par 74-75-149, while RJ Wren is tied for 57th place with a 13 over par 81-76-157.

Owen Manchester shot a 14 over par 77-81-158 to end the day in a tie for 60th place, while Jack Halleron is in 69th place with a 22 over par 80-86-166. Hugo Kedzlie, playing as an individual, is tied for 36th place with a six over par 75-75-150.

Evan Brown of Loyola (Md.) holds a two-shot lead at seven under par.

The final round of the tournament will take place on Tuesday.
