Men’s Golf has Six Named Cobalt Golf All-American Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Delaware men's golf team had six student-athletes selected as 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Monday. Delaware's six selection tied for the most in Division I and the Fightin' Blue Hens were one of 23 Division I programs with at least five honorees. In all, 649 student-athletes from 210 Division I institutions were recognized.
Delaware's selections include Arsit Areephun, Jeffrey Homer, Matthew Homer, Ikk Iampongsai, Caleb Itzoe and Aryan Vuradi. It is the second-career nod for Matthew Homer, who was also an All-America Scholar last year. The six total selections are the most ever by a UD squad, surpassing the previous high of five in 2022.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
