NEWARK, Del. - Following the University of Delaware men's lacrosse team's thrilling 13-12 overtime victory against Towson on Saturday, the Blue Hens moved up to 14th in USILA Coaches Poll and in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.Â
Delaware has been red hot as of late, winning six straight games to mark the program's longest regular season win streak since the 2006 campaign. During the recent stretch, the Blue Hens have outscored the opposition, 94-61.Â
Both sides of the ball have been clicking for Delaware as the team ranks 15th nationally in scoring offense (14.43 goals per game) and 23rd in scoring defense (10.14 goals allowed per game) for the 16th-best scoring margin in Division I (+4.29).Â
The Blue Hens return to action on April 2 when they welcome Fairfield to Delaware Stadium for a noon CAA matchup.Â
