Delaware Men’s Golfers Finish 11th at ECU Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Roberto Nieves fired a one under par 71 during Tuesday's final round as the Delaware men's golf team wrapped up action at the ECU Intercollegiate.
Nieves carded birdies on the 12th and sixth holes while recording just one bogey during his third round on the par 72, 6,755-yard Brook Valley Country Club course, as he tied for 19th place among individuals with a four over par 74-75-71-220.
Playing as an individual, Hugo Kedzlie tied for 31st place at the tournament with a seven over par 75-75-73-223.
Michal Bargenda shot a nine over par 73-75-77-225 to tie for 37th place, while Owen Manchester fired a 19 over par 77-81-77-235 to finish in 59th place. RJ Wren placed 64th with a 24 over par 81-76-83-240, while Jack Halleron finished 67th with a 29 over par 80-86-79-245.
Zack Taylor of Coastal Carolina was the tournament medalist as he finished at seven under par to post a three-shot victory.
The Blue Hens recorded a 304 team score on Tuesday, finishing in 11th place out of 13 squads with a 915 three-round total. Coastal Carolina claimed the team title with an 865 score, while Appalachian State finished in second place six shots back.
