Pair of Blue Hen Rookies Earn All-CAA Nods

Rogers named to second team, Seemans to Rookie.

RICHMOND, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association announced its volleyball postseason awards Friday with freshmen Lily Rogers and Savannah Seemans earning recognition.

Rogers is a second-team selection and all-rookie teamer after proving to be a versatile piece of the Blue Hens attack. She averaged 1.32 kills per set and 5.19 assists per set. She also ranked inside the top-10 in the CAA with 0.35 aces a frame. The St. Louis, Mo. native had a season-high nine kills against Towson and had 59 assists at Temple along with 11 digs for a double-double.

Seemans had four double-doubles on the year, including a season-high 17 kills in the season-finale, a five-set win against West Virginia. She averaged 2.70 kills per set and 3.27 digs per set.
