Blue Hens Ranked in National Polls

NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware men's lacrosse team checked in at No. 16 in both the USILA Coaches Poll and Inside Lacrosse Media Poll on Monday.

The Blue Hens additionally were ranked 14th in the US Lacrosse Magazine weekly rankings.

It's the fifth straight week that Delaware was ranked inside the top-20 in the national polls.

Heading into the week, the Blue Hens rank 15th in Division I in scoring offense (14.00 goals per game) and 25th in scoring defense (10.44 goals allowed per game) for the 14th-best scoring margin (+3.56). Delaware additionally ranks 24th in caused turnovers per game (8.00), 13th in clearing percentage (.881) and 15th in ground balls per tilt (33.78).

Delaware will begin a two-game road trip that starts with a CAA matchup against No. 17 Hofstra on Saturday in Hempstead, N.Y., slated for 4 p.m.
