Varsity Fours Shine at Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The University of Delaware rowing team took a trip to Bucknell to compete in five heats Saturday afternoon, winning both fours bouts.

The Varsity 4 won with a time of 6:52.51, three seconds ahead of the Bison while the second Varsity 4 came in with a time of 7:02.58 to win that heat.

The third Varsity 8 timed in a 6:28.95 to edge Bucknell while the Blue Hens' Varsity eight had a second-place finish in 6:08.06 along with the second Varisty 9 in 6:26.20.

The Blue Hens are back on the water for their final tune-up before the CAA Championships, traveling to George Mason April 25.
