- Attended Tower Hill School and joined the rowing team during her junior year because she was relatively tall and thought it looked cool while watching the Olympics
- Was a member of the basketball, soccer and field hockey programs including being the team captain of the basketball team
- Was All-Conference Honorable Mention for basketball
