Holly Manning Named CAA Track Athlete of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. -Â Delaware's Holly Manning picked up her second weekly honor of the season on Wednesday after being recognized as the CAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week.
Manning raced to a new personal record in the 1500m at the Philadelphia Metropolitan Collegiate Invitational. Her time of 4:23.54 was good enough for second place in the event. The mark also ranks second in the CAA this spring while ranking 71st in the NCAA East Region. Heading into the CAA Championships Manning also holds the top 800m time (2:07.65) in the conference this season which she set back on April 9.Â
Manning and the Blue Hens will return to action in the CAA Tournament this Friday and Saturday, April 30 & May 1.
