Grant Named USA Lacrosse Magazine Third Team All-American

SPARKS, Md. – For the second time in a week, junior Owen Grant of the Delaware men's lacrosse team collected national postseason honors after being named a USA Lacrosse Magazine Third Team All-American on Tuesday.
The USA Lacrosse Magazine list of 2021 Division I Men's All-Americans was compiled by staff and contributors, with input from college coaches and other sources. USA Lacrosse Magazine identified 66 players overall as All-Americans, including first-, second- and third-team honors as well as honorable mentions.
Grant pieced together a standout junior campaign, finishing third in Division I in caused turnovers per game (2.36) and leading the nation's 17th-best scoring defense. He tied the Delaware single-season program record for caused turnovers with 26. The third-year defenseman led the Blue Hens and ranked fifth in the conference with 3.82 ground balls per game. Grant also contributed on the offensive end with four points on three goals and an assist.
