Kitchen and Hervada Named to USILA Senior All-Star Game

NEWARK, Del. – Graduate students Charlie Kitchen and Jake Hervada of the Delaware men's lacrosse team were selected to the rosters of the 2021 USILA Senior All-Star Game.
The game will take place on Friday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Kitchen and Hervada will be representing the South in the annual North-South Game which began back in 1940.
Kitchen showed out in his final campaign for Delaware, leading the Blue Hens with 55 points on 28 goals and 27 assists. He finished first in the CAA and ninth nationally with 5.00 points per game, while ranking second in the conference and 13th in Division I in assists per game (2.55). The Marlton, N.J., native tallied a point in all 11 outings and capped his career by ranking third in program history in career points, fourth in career goals and sixth in career assists.
Hervada served as the Blue Hens' primary faceoff specialist in his last year with the squad. The Bryn Mawr, Pa., native compiled 91 faceoff wins with a .508 faceoff win percentage. He additionally recorded three points on two goals and an assist to go along with a team-best 45 groundballs. Hervada ranked inside the top-five in the CAA in ground balls and faceoff wins. Â
