Delaware Tennis Programs Honored by ITA for Academic Success

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Both University of Delaware tennis squads were named ITA All-Academic Teams while numerous Blue Hens earned individual accolades as the organization announced its academic awards this week.

Nine UD men's tennis players have been named 2020-21 ITA Division I Scholar-Athletes: Nathan Benyowitz, Julian Chousa, Pierre-Louis Dodens, Pierce Gilheany, Liam Hedlund, Justice Jones, Milo Nagle, Bryan Paliska and James Wilkinson. Blue Hen women's tennis honorees include Tayo Adetunji, Eliza Askarova, Jojo Bach, Emily Gotkiewicz, Julieta Honrubia, Viva Laas and Isabella Montana.

To be honored for the ITA All-Academic Team award, squads must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above. Individuals must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year to be honored.
