Change in Leadership for Delaware Track & Field

NEWARK, Del. - Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Chrissi Rawak announced today that Wendy McFarlane has resigned from her position as the head coach of Delaware Track & Field.

McFarlane became the Blue Hens track & field head coach in August of 2008. Delaware won the CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship in 2014 and 2019 leading to CAA Coach of the Year honors for McFarlane. The Blue Hens recorded a total of four top-3 finishes under her guidance.

During McFarlane's time at Delaware, she coached three Outstanding Track Meet Performers, three Outstanding Field Meet Performers, and one CAA Rookie of the Year.
