Nieves, Blue Hens Lead After First Day of Wildcat Fall Invitational

VILLANOVA, Pa. – Roberto Nieves leads all individuals while Delaware is also atop the team standings following Monday's two rounds at the Wildcat Fall Invitational.
Nieves continued his outstanding fall season by carding a 66 and 67 on the par 70, 6,572-yard Radnor Valley Country Club course. During his opening round he made a hole in one on 11, while also posting four birdies. He then recorded an eagle on seven to go with three birdies during his second round of the day.
Nieves sits at seven under par, four shots ahead of Rhode Island teammates Brandon Gillis and Bryson Richards.
Sparky Ariyachatvakin is tied for sixth place with a one over par 72-69-141, while Michal Bargenda sits in 19th place with a seven over par 74-73-147.
Egor Zubov opened with an 82 but responded with a 67 during his second round, including five birdies, and is tied for 21st place with a nine over par 149. Hugo Kedzlie, who fired rounds of 73 and 76, is also tied for 21st place at nine over.
Delaware posted team rounds of 285 and 276 and holds a four-shot lead over Drexel heading into Tuesday's final round, which begins at 8 a.m.
